An honors graduate of Bishop Connolly High School, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Leo graduated Magna Cum Laude from the former
New England Institute, Kenmore Square, Boston in 1986. He completed internships in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island for
funeral service licensure. An Embalmer and Funeral Director with over 20 years of planning experience, the primary
concentration of Leo's practice is preplanning funeral services, for end of life expenses and funding through the use
of irrevocable trusts, in Massachusetts and nearby Rhode Island. Through training at Harvard University Medical School,
Boston, Massachusetts and the Medical Eye Bank of Maryland in Baltimore, Leo performed Surgical Ocular Tissue Recovery
for the New England Eye and Tissue Transplant Bank of Boston, MA. Serving as Regional Program Manager, he performed
these services for 15 years throughout the Southeastern New England region. A licensed life insurance agent, in 2001,
Leo earned the CPC certification (Certified Preplanning Consultant) from the Funeral Service Education Foundation in
Brookfield, Wisconsin. This certification exemplifies the adherence to the highest professional standards, ethics and
excellence in the service to client families. A national speaker, Leo has spoken to audiences in Louisiana, Mississippi,
New York as well as locally, regarding the importance of pre-need planning. Leo also serves on the Bristol County (MA) Workforce
Investment Board of Directors. In 2004, Leo founded True North Funeral Trust, LLC, an independent family practice providing private
consumer consultation, business consultation and advocacy on funeral service planning and marketing.
